Christopher D. Boynton (Founding Editor)
Born in Willingboro, NJ in 1966. Raised in central Pennsylvania. Artistic inclinations were recognized at an early age. Self-taught painter, graphic designer, web designer and web developer. My art is mostly portraits of friends and former friends I've known over the years. I find it a challenge to capture the individuals' character and personality.
Carlos V. Delgado
Born in Jackson Heights, New York. After graduating high school in Ecuador in 1997, he returned permanently to New York and obtained an Associate's degree in aeronautical design at the Vaughn College of Aeronautics in Queens. He then transferred to Stony Brook University in Long Island NY and graduated in 2003 with a BA in Studio Art with a concentration in printmaking. Through his artistic expressions he strives to conserve a level of aesthetic and craftsmanship, that may allow him to identify himself as a skillful artist.
Born in Boston MA, Michael gladly calls himself a Bostonian—though he's lived in New York City for much of his life. This duality plays into his psyche and how he maneuvers in the world. Like many others, he works a full time job to pay the rent, but his passion lies in music—specifically writing lyrics. His first album, Pro-Literate, was received with welcoming ears and minds, providing some fresh verses and poetry that was reminiscent of the 90's era of Hip-Hop. It gained notice by legendary producer Sid Roams and some loyal Hip-Hop listeners. Though he doesn't perform much publicly, Michael is working on his second album. It was his love of writing and music that pulled him to Swipe Magazine. Through his participation in many of the magazine's events, he has seen the resurrection of his interests in photography and painting.
Born and raised in the South Bronx, he has been fortunate to partake in experiences that have consequently made an impact on the way he chooses to express himself on canvas or paper. Justin obtained his BA in Criminology with a minor in Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2007. At the moment he enjoys drawing pigeons and applying his studies to his art, creating designs for a fashion designer and illustrations for a children's enrichment program.
